This is really an Amazing Shaved Brussels Sprout Salad recipe.  Brussels sprouts sliced very thin to create an amazing slaw. This recipe even includes a homemade dressing.

I am so excited to share with you my latest favorite recipe: Amazing Shaved Brussels Sprout Salad. I love brussels sprouts but never tried them raw before. Raw Brussels sprouts are amazing! Make this salad even better by adding blue cheese, dried cranberries, and nuts. Healthy, fresh, and so tasty.

Do you know that if you slice Brussels sprouts they result in an unbelievably delicate slaw? All you need is a very sharp knife or a slicer. Trader Joe’s sells shaved Brussels Sprouts ready for your salad .

I am also including a very simple homemade dressing that just goes perfect with this Amazing Shaved Brussels Sprout Salad. All you need for the dressing is orange juice, honey, olive oil,  and vinegar.

Amazing salad recipe with delicious shaved Brussels Sprouts.

Serves: 3-4
Ingredients
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts
  • ¾ cup walnuts or pecans chopped
  • ¾ cup dried cranberries
  • ½ cup crumbled blue cheese
  • For the Dressing:
  • ¼ cup orange juice
  • ¼ cup vinegar
  • 5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey or use maple syrup
Instructions
  1. Wash Brussels sprouts well first. Then cut each one into very thin slices using a sharp knife or slicer.
  2. Toss in a bowl and separate layers. It should look like a slaw.
  3. Add the toppings and mix well.
  4. For the dressing: in a measuring cup add orange juice, vinegar, oil and honey or maple syrup. Mix well and pour over salad right before serving.
