I am in the mood for tarts and casseroles. I love vegetarian dishes and thought of a great idea: making a chard and spinach tart! I found a recipe but changed the ingredients a bit and added a whole wheat crust. My tart came out great! I also added chopped hard boiled eggs. You can try it with just one veggie or add more if you prefer other veggies.  I am thinking kale and shredded carrots will also go really well with this tart.

I made a delicious bechamel sauce that mixed really well with the chard, spinach and chopped eggs.  After baking for about 50 minutes, the tart came out super creamy and tasty. Make sure you use organic ingredients when possible and make your meals healthier.

This is also a great side dish if you wish to serve it with fish or chicken for example. Be creative and remember to always try to use fresh and good quality ingredients. This Chard and Spinach Tart With Whole Wheat Crust is a must try!
