Asian-Style Brussel Sprouts is my favorite way to make them. I just steamed them first for about 7-10 minutes and then sauté with an Asian twist. I really enjoy sweet and salty food.

Brussel Sprouts are an excellent source of vitamin C and vitamin K. They are a very good source of numerous nutrients including folate, manganese, vitamin B6, dietary fiber, choline, copper, vitamin B1, potassium, phosphorus, and omega-3 fatty acids.
This incredibly nutritious vegetables offers protection from vitamin-A deficiency, bone loss, iron-deficiency anemia, and it’s believed to protect from cardiovascular diseases, colon and prostate cancers.
Make sure you trim and halve the brussel sprouts before steaming or boiling. I prefer steaming my veggies to keep the nutritional content intact. I served these delicious Asian-Style Brussel Sprouts with baked salmon. It is really a great family meal with fresh and healthy ingredients.

Easy Asian-Style Brussel Sprouts
- About 1 pound of brussel sprouts trimmed and halved
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 3 tbspn vinegar
- 3 tbspn soy sauce (or coconut aminos)
- 2 tbspns honey (you can also substitute for maple syrup)
- 1 tbspn sesame oil
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Steam or boil brussel sprouts for about 7-10 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.
- In a medium size pan, heat some olive oil (just a little bit) and add the galic cloves, vinegar, soy sauce, honey and sesame oil.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the brussel sprouts and mix well. Let it cook for a few minutes (3 to 5), and let the brussel sprouts absorb the sauce.
